Inkwazi House
Situated in Marloth Park in the eastern lowveld area of the Mpumalanga Province and between the Malelane (35 km) and Crocodile Bridge (10 km) gates of the Kruger National Park. It is about 4 hours drive from Johannesburg and only 1 hour from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. The house can accommodate more than 10 persons and is fully equipped for a self catering holiday. With the house a mere 100m from the Crocodile River, southern border of the world renowned Kruger National Park, why not wake up to the distinctive cry of the African Fish Eagle ('Inkwazi' in Zulu), which symbolises the wild freedom of the African bush and may be visible to you through the bedroom window. With the sunrise, a cacophony of bird calls mingle with the Fish Eagle's cry setting up a symphony to lure you down to the river bank where you can spend hours on end bird watching or just gazing at the Hippopotamus, Buffalo, Rhinoceros, Elephant or whatever else may be playing in the river! For game viewing just relax on the balcony and watch the game walking past and sipping water from the waterhole in front of the house. Laugh at Warthogs in the mud or feel the breath of a Zebra so close will it come to you. On hot summer days get into the splash pool with a cocktail and just wash your lungs with the crisp African air....
